Man!! Missed a call today from my son! Who calls on a weekday at 2:20pm when their Dad is running a Bobcat and cant here his phone ring!! Lol! Got a nice message from him. It seems his Division has made a big turn around and are excelling as a Team! They did really well on 3 inspections last week and earned a trip to the NEX for snacks, drinks and a phone call today! He said their Division is now one of the top Divisions in his Graduating Class. They have won 2 Flags and he says they are gonna try and get their 3rd this Friday for their Marching Test. They had Marksmanship Qualifying on Monday and he said he qualified Expert. He hopes he earns his Expert ribbon tomorrow for Marksmanship. The the little smart ass said that playing all those video games helped him with his shooting! Lol! Great to hear his voice. At least now i can play the message back when i want to hear him. Only 23 more days!! Man time is flying!

Sorry to hear you missed his call. But heck it's almost...ALMOST worth it since he left a voice msg that you can replay when you just want/need to hear his voice. Good luck on the rest of his qualifiers/tests!!
Sorry to hear of the missed call Chris. Glad your son and Division are excelling. I'll have to be even more on the alert for a phone call. My son is in Ship 2, Division 904 so hope they are doing as well as your sons. I'm with you man...23 days left! I just am crossing my fingers that the weather won't mess up my travels to his PIR. I don't care how long the snow or storm might keep me in GL after PIR...I just want to make it to PIR on time! Continued success to the SRs.
I hear ya on the weather! Most of my trip skirts me along the Great Lakes and that damn lake effect snow!! Could be a long snowy drive!
