I dropped my son off at his recruiter's on the 14th and he got to Great Lakes on the 15th. Got the "I'm here, call you in 3 weeks" phone call at 2:30 am on the 16th. Waiting for "the box". His recruiter said that he may be able to give me his address on Monday. Hang in there!

Howdy Ken. I dont remember how this works. I was in boot over 20 years ago. But I do remember going through P days for about 5 days. I cant remember if we got new guys every day until the company was in place. So im wondering if sailors who show up the 12th, 13th, 14th and so on end up togeather to form a company. I checked the mail today...Nothing. Thats how I remember the navy. Hurry up and wait style all the way hehe. But we will find out soon enough. Any info I can get ill send your way. Ill add ya to my friends list as well... Thanks again!
