Thanks for the info. tony.  Please keep me posted if you recieve a call from your son.  So far we have only gotten 3 letters.  In one he asked why we hadn't written yet.  We've mailed over 10 letters, can't understand why he hasn't recieved any yet.  Will let every know if we get a phone call.

The Moms 803/804 group is WAY more active than this one and has quite a bit of info. Looks like 803 had their calls this past week.

Harry,

I'm getting letters on Thursday that were written on Sunday. Still no sign of him getting one from me. He did note that the original zip code in the form letter 60088 3156 code was wrong. He changed it to 60088 7103.

I bet that has slowed down my letters but they will get to him eventually - I hope... Its 5 PM back there - Looks like no calls today.

What will your guys rate be. My Grandson finished BUDS and SQT and is now Deployed with his Team.
My son's rate is SO. So far, he is clearing the hurdles and is on his way to BUDS.

Tony, thanks for letting me know this.  I thought that maybe he was being punished or something and they weren't giving the letters to him.  Hopefully we'll all get phonecalls soon.

He will have more fun after BC, there will be more PT and they are more active. Some get bored and a little out of shape in during BC since they really don't get much time for extra PT.

Please keep me updated on his progress and if you have any question let me know, I have kept some notes on my GS journey. Class 273 shipped to Coronado with 170+ and after DOR's, drop due to injury or performance and roll-back due to the same SQT Class 273 had 49 Graduate and my GS was one of 9 to make all the way though in the same Class he started.

Good Luck to your Son and tell him HooYah for me.

Just got a phone call from my son. He sounded good. He thinks he will have the weekend off after PIR.

Also got a letter today and they have started the diver motivation training in the AM. He is enjoying it but it sounds brutal.

Tony, we got a call from our son also.  He said he's still trying to get over a cold.  Passed his first pt and written exam.  He also said that they were  down to 106 recruits, one of them left thier i.d. card in thier uniform pocket and it got sent to laundry.  The whole div. got into trouble for it.  Other then that he said things were going good.

Jr called tonight it was so good to here from him , Jr still sounds a littel home sick but I think he's getting better. He said the only thing he does not like is that everybody still has a hard time listening. He said that today was the hardest because the RTC came and destroyer there ship the guys have a hard time putting thing away.

Jr PIR date is 02/11/2011
Sr  my sons Pir date is the same.  He also talked about his ship being destroyed because some guys didn't have things in order.  He said that the past week was gooing good until then.  Also someone left thier id in thier pants that they were sending to laundry. They got in trouble for that too.
