My SR son is in this group. Is there anyone else with family in this ship and division?

Yes my son is also Ship 12 Div 182.
We got the initial 11pm, 30 sec "hey I got here" on 4-17 when he arrived.
And we got a letter on may 1. It was a very positive letter and that eased alot of our anxiety.
We even found a pic of him marching with the Div taken 5-3. Amazing pic! Lokks so mature and proud.
The RTC has a facebook page where they are posting some pics of them marching and drilling.
Hope to keep chatgting and learning more from all the parents.
ps: NJ here just outside of Philly. Talk soon
Hi Mark, thank you for the reply. That is great to hear! Maybe they will train together. Yea, he has sent me a letter and I received the letter on the 1st. of May. How about you? Any communications from your sailor?

Hi Jay, I am happy to see that both our SR son's are in the same ship and division. Likewise, I got my first initial call the day after. We got a letter on May 1st. Yes, same here. He was positive. It sure made us very happy to see that first letter. How is the weather over in Jersey? Right now, its not so sunny South Florida. Lots of thunderstorms and a Tornado watch.

Rick, We have not yet recieved a letter from our son. We picked him out of a few pictures that were posted on the facebook page the day he arrived. Hopefully we will see a letter this week. I am sure he is doing well, anxious to hear from him.

Hi Mark, yes he is doing well. I myself at times wonder what my son is doing at this moment.

Hi Mark, that is awesome to hear that you received your son's first letter! All the best for your SR son in his training. Congratulations to your son with his accomplishments. I am awaiting for my son's second letter. I got a call from his mom and she has received a recent letter from my son. Hopefully I get today in the mail.
