Finally spoke to our son Robert today. We missed his 2nd call at week 4. His PIR date is 1/9/15. He sounds really good and confident in his division for the confidence chamber and Battle Stations! We are so proud of our SR and can't wait to fly out from Ct on 1/8/15 to see graduation!

Congratulations Robert! My son is Ship 13 Div 058 and will graduate on 1/9/15 also These two divisions are brother divisions and are training together. When I spoke to my son on Christmas day I believe, (I'm not sure, because I can't remember) but I thought my son said they were doing Battlestations today-tonight. Did you hear the same thing?
watch your OPSEC- BS21 schedules are considered secure info by RTC and should not be discussed in the open

Andrew,
Congrats to you and your son. We heard from our son on Christmas. He said next was the confidence chamber then BS. He did not know the dates at that time. He said that his division is doing great...not sure that includes the 058 but if they are training together could be for both. I've been doing a lot of research on what they're going through. We are so proud of our son as you must be for yours. We have already seen how this experience is bringing out his confidence & eagerness to serve.
Where is your son going from here? Robert is coming back closer to home in Groten, Ct for Submariner A school. We will be travelling to Chicago the evening of January 8th.
Thank You Ronald. We are extremely proud here in Oklahoma. I do remember Jake saying something about the confidence chamber (he said gas chamber), that's probably what's happening this week, or has happened. Regardless, they are getting close to completing this phase. He said they are all very anxious to graduate and move on to A school. Jake will be leaving for Pensacola, FL and going through Aviation Boatswain Mate school (rate = AMH). His younger brother Ryan will be leaving in Aug for GL and then and going to Goose Creek, SC for Nuclear Engineering/Propulsion school. We are very proud of them both. We will be leaving for Chicago on Jan. 7th. Once again congratulations to you and your son for a job well done!
