Yep Tim our boy is out there somewhere with him. We get e-mails all the time. I guess they may get some shore leave this week.

Austin is doing much better Mike, thanks for asking. He just deployed for a long stretch on the ship. What he really wants to do is get some shore duty. I guess he's getting tired of being out on the water so much. He called week before last and we had a nice talk that was a long time coming so all is well for now.

My sailore seems to be having fun. They waited until the last moment to get him a passport. He is hoping it will get there before they get some where fun. Bill it looks like a nice ship. I was on a DE for a short time, decieded I want to be on land. Thanks for joining. Tim how's Austin doing?

Looked great. Excited about his new adventure. He had it pretty easy at Point Loma, but that all changed today. He was suppose to report aboard today. They have changed his orders 2-3 times. We picked up all the stuff he couldn't take aboard. Going back later to get car.

pretty quiet for the holidays around here....I worked a lot so the other chemists didn't have too since they have spouses and family in the area.....how's your son doing?
