Hi Richard, Have you booked your hotel yet? Homewood suites in Lincolnshire is very nice. It also has a grad special if you ask. We liked it because it had 2 bedrooms plus living and kitchen area.You will love PIR. I was overwhelmed with pride , Our son spent a few hours with us each day . It went so fast!!My son stayed in chicago for 8 more weeks of training , now he is in San Diego. I miss him!! Due to the time change I have missed hiss calls. I work evening shift so It is a matter of playing phone tag. We hope to visit him this winter if able to do so. I believe his wife may fly there this weekend. He is happy and glad he joined. He is 28, but I still worry about him. Keeping very busy painting and working in my garden. Barbara

Hello CT moms and dads! My son Devon went into boot camp on 08/24/09. He is in ship 13 division 362 due to graduate on 10/16/09. I'm looking forward to the PIR and just booked my tickets today! Looking forward to meeting other CT families that are enjoying the Navy adventure also!
