Hello everyone. I hope you are having a good day.
Congrats, Joe Jr on your son classing up. Best wishes to him.

David, I am not sure if there is a typical "wait" time. While in DEP my daughter was provided one list of languages to choice from. When she got to Monterey the list slightly changed. She had to wait 3 to 4 weeks for her classes to start. She said part of the issue was they were delaying the moves of some sailors at that time. Hope that helps, Tony

Thanks Brenda. Sundays are the days my daughter usually calls (typically when we are about the sit down for supper). LOL

Well I hope everyone and their Sailors/families are doing well. I am happy to report, I think Jerronne is doing well in A school, as he says he is averaging a 93 in his quizzes. I have us all in prayer. Have a Great Sunday/week.

Brenda, You, Jerronne and all other sailors are in my prayers. I think a lot of sailors have a tough time in A and C schools. Usually, it is their first time with freedom of some sort and the schools demand a lot. I could tell my daughter was having some adjustment issues at first at A school but is now settling into the process.

Good morning. Thank you all for your prayers. Jerronne is also at Corry Station, he has been there since March. He just classed up June 5th. He is not one to complain, as I heard from his brothers. He will never say he is worried. He told us he made a 100 on his last test. He use to be a Core Mentor and knew all the new sailors. I know he was down when he had to give it up for school. Also, two sailors he started with from bootcamp, went to school prior and are now I guess doing C school or deployed. I told him to get their information to keep in touch. I saw his face an listened to his hurt, as he obviously made two very good friends. I explained to him it will be this way and ask the Lord to help him cope with whatever he is feeling about school and friendships. No one seems to know Jerronne. He would never tell me who his bunkmates are, as he does not like me on the forums. But I explain to him I need this and I want to share in his life and be able to support him. If you happen to see him while there, please tell him we love him very much and are praying for all our sailors. Thanks so much. Have a blessed day all.
P.S. We were trying to go as well to P'Cola, but his dad has sugar and recently had nerve damage surgery to his arm. Hopefully we will be able to see him really soon.

Brenda aka Sailor Moon, I know times can be stressful at times and I feel for you. I will keep both you and Jerronne in my prayers

I am worried about my son in these classes in A school. Please keep Jerronne in your prayers. Thanks.
