Bob,
Thanks. My daughter got the package about 3 hours after the post. She called me to say she did not get it but called my wife she did. Go figure. At least she got it.

Tony,
Our priority posts we sent have both arrived in Monterey, but our son had to go to wherever they get their mail and ask if any packages had arrived for him. They do not get notified by anyone when a package arrives.

I sent a small package to my daughter in Monterey last Monday. I mailed it using USPS. She has not yet received it. I should have arrived on Wednesday or Thursday since I mailed it priority post. Any ideas? Anyone else had issues like this?

Thanks,
Tony

Hey David, congratulations on Doug’s promotion to PO3! He may act like it is not a big deal but it is. My son has been in Pensacola two months now and is still waiting to start “A” school. He hopes to class up this month.

Bob,
Great that your son phased up. My daughter instructed us to send the civies she packed before she left. She wants them available as soon as she can wear them. It is also great to hear they have a "music room", my daughter will appreciate that. My daughter called last night and said she was assigned a language but classes do not start until later in April.

David,
Congrats! That is great news. Tell Petty Officer Doug, we said, "Congratulations and send a picture to his mom." :)

Greetings gentlemen,
Just wanted to let you know that our son begins his classes tomorrow. He has appropriately "phased up" and is good to go...to the point that he called this afternoon and asked that we send some civilian clothes. He has made it to the point that he can start wearing "civies" at designated times. He is looking forward to that. He still really likes the whole set up out in Monterery. We asked him if he wanted us to send his guitar and he said that is not necessary because they have a "music room" where he can go and play guitar at free times. I think those free times are going to be much less now that classes will begin! It sounds like our kids are in a good place to go to "A school" and learn their trade!
