Well the boy passed his e4 exam and is "graduating with honors" from C school Friday. Then a well deserved leave before reporting to his new assignment June 7th. Proud dad!
C school graduation is Friday, won't be able to be there but traveling to see all three kids in a couple of weeks.
Had a chance to see my son over Easter in Pensacola. It was my 3rd and last trip to see him there. He graduates C school and reports to his ship in June. Once he arrives, I will have all three kids on the other side of the country within 2 hours of each other.
My son graduated from Crash and Salvage Firefighting advanced training!
Donald that's awesome! Being close to your Sailor priceless... BZ to your son! My son is still in C school. He'd gone to A school back in 2011 which seems just like yesterday. How time flies...
My son starts C school classes on Monday. It has been nice having him an 8 1/2 hour drive away. I have been able to visit him twice while in A school. After C school in June, won't be driving to see him where he will be stationed. So proud of him! It looks like it is the two of us Gary.
Looks like this group is pretty much dead...
Think I'll poke around for something with a little more activity :)

Hey folks. Our son Chris started C School in Dam Neck 2wks ago. He's an FC, and is there for the MK86 5" gun. There are 12 in his class, and he said that on the first day, one of the instructors told them to be ready to go to Japan when they graduate this summer.
I guess that since the MK is being phased out, they were also told they will most likely be back at another C School after they deploy.
He had been in GL since Jan of 2010, so he was pretty happy to be putting GL in his rear view mirror, especially in Feb. Nice transition from there to Virginia ;)
