Brenda it all depends on how the class fills up and where they are headed and how much money the government has to throw around. My son graduated A-school in May but was told in April that the gov. had no money to send troops to next assignment till new fiscal year. 3 weeks after graduating A-school he was headed to San Diego. so there is no definate answer but maybe that will help you out some.

Paige, thanks for sharing. You have quite an impressive family. Thanks so much for that vote of confidence. He is an intelligent young man. He went to a military academy for high school, I am pretty sure he knew a little of what to expect, it is just when you ask how school is going his response, I don't know, it has become quite a puzzle . I guess that is why I'm here to learn. Thanks again for your response. Have a great evening.
I have pulled up Dr. Seuss "The Places You Can Go", I think I will mail him a copy and make him laugh, but it is quite meaningful.

Brenda, thanks again! Billy's father was a CTM in the Navy for 10 yrs. And Billy's grandfather on his dad's side was a CTT and retired after 20 yrs. Billy was born in Pensacola because his dad re-enlisted for a C-School that was there at Corry Station during the time of my expectancy. And his father attended A & C Schools there as well. The schools are very technical and can be difficult. I'm sure your son will do fine!

Paige~He does not know, or he is not telling us anything right now. He only mentioned when he is deployed he may be going to Japan. I can't get much information out of my son. I have learned from others. I don't know if he also will be attending more than one C school.
Congrats to Billy for doing so well. BRAVO ZULU, Billy. I wish him further success in his future. I pray my son can do as well. Thank you.

Brenda, thank you for the comment. Billy is doing very well in his schools and has maintained a high GPA throughout. He's in his 2nd C-School now which ends on 7-21 then he has a couple of weeks off until the next school starts. He will have had 4 C-Schools by the time he's finished at the end of Sept. Does your son know where his C-Schools are going to be? Good luck to him also in A-School.

Hey Cora & Paige -
My son Wes finally, finally got to start his C School on Monday! Yeahhh :) He is staying at his current base for it too which is nice he will still be close by (5 1/2 hour drive). He is an AT so I am not sure what all his C School will entail. I know I am so happy for him, he has been very patient. Hopefully he will call sometime this week and I will know more soon!

Hi Cora,
My son, Billy arrived in San Diego just about a month ago to attend 4 different C-Schools for his IC (Interior Communications) rate. He will finish hir first C-School at the end of this week and start the next one on Monday. I do not recall what each school is called, so I will share that info with you when I find out more. Billy is loving S.D. especially after having spent an entire winter in Great Lakes. I've heard Whidby Island is very beautiful especially in the summer time and I hope your daughter enjoys it there. My boss is actually on his way there right now. He has two homes on the Island (one rental and one vacation).
