Hi Everyone. I've been a member on here since 6/10 when my youngest joined. He's an MM3,nuke up at BS now. My oldest son just left for NSGL on 12/14, been up there 3 weeks now, 12/074, PIR 2/17/ He's going to be a SeaBee, BU. It is somewhat emotionally draining but an immense source of pride. Hy hats off to everyone who has a loved one serving.
Hi all, I have a son and a daughter who enlisted in October and are to ship out in July and June 2012 respectively.
Paul, my son will also graduate on August 26th, and turned 18 after he's been at GL for a couple of weeks. When will your daughter turn 18?
Older daughter is a Petty Officer 2nd class, been in 2 1/2 years. She's really looking forward to going back on the 26th to see her brother graduate.
Our oldest daughter was an STG3 then HM2 and is now in the Air Force Reserves-hoping to become an Officer now that she has her degree. Identical twin sons Kevin and Brian joined at the same time. Kevin is EM3 (Nuke) aboard the USS Reagan-Brian is AWF3 Flight Engineer on the P-3 Orion out of Whidbey, now serving at Kadena in Okinawa. We are very proud of them. Congratulations to all of you!
Hello All! I just became a Navy Dad x 2. My oldest son, Zach, is a 2nd Class at the Naval Academy and my youngest, Nate, enlisted on the 11th of this month. He leaves for Great Lakes in November.
