Jack - The ship he is attached to, the DDG-100 USS Kidd, is based out of San Diego. From what he tells me that is where he will be when not on deployment. I totally understand your concern for your son's welfare. Hopefully things have calmed down over there by then. Hang in there Dad.

My son is now in Norfolk for the first part of C, will be in San Diego at the end of the month. They deploy sometime in July. But he gets to come home for a week between posts! Should make E4 pretty quick here. Good luck to Jonathon.

We had fleet over for turkey day, its nice to have folks enoy the day with who only want to get away from GL and relax, played video games and read.... All in all a great day with the sailors...

Same to you my new friends! John is flying in on Friday and we will have turkey on Saturday. May be the last family Thanksgiving for a while. We can't wait to see him again.

Ang is a enigma..... Brilliant, but laid back, (sometimes too much) fun, and not as jaded as some..... If you get a chance haller at her and get to know her.... Shes a lil wacky but if you look past the silliness and bs you find a true and loyal friend...

We weren't able to make it down for A school graduation. John says its a pretty small area that the hold it in.
