My son has completed dive school and has hi"bubble". He has beeen at EOD schoo since around Thanksgiving. It is a very serious and difficlut course asc on would expect and hope it to be. Thsy all work very hard They are alos very closed mouthed about what they do even if they talk about it they give away nothin it is ard it is interesting the instructirs are great the guys ae great but no substance As it should be

Not much activity on this site but after seeing our son on base yesterday, he told us he's still very serious about EOD. He made us all laugh when he told us that they call these EOD sailors as "guys who poke at bombs with sticks." I hope to see more folks on this site in the future!

Earl, you might check from time to time the Group called U.S. Navy Special Operations it is for. U.S. Navy's Elite Special Operations communities of SEALs, Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Crewmen (SWCCs), Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technicians (EOD) and Navy Divers. We are not very active but most of us can't speak freely about our Loved Ones activities.

Welcome to Navy Dads.

You're right about that, Earl...only a matter of time. My son is in MA school and has already expressed a strong interest in the EOD. It concerns us of course but it's his decision. Thanks for starting the group. Do you have a son or daughter who is or will be in EOD?
