Carol, have to say it was warmer here than where you are. Try to stay warm and have a good week-end.

I've had a pretty good week, even though it is pretty cold here. The high was about 7degrees today. Hope that you are doing well. Have a good Friday!

Thank you so much for joining this group Delores and my heart goes out to you and your family on your lost and know how long ago you lost occurred does not diminish the lost in your heart. I know as for myself it is as fresh in my heart today as it was on April 6th 2007 5:00 p.m. in a department store located in Hiram, Georgia when my daughter call me on my cell phone to tell me of Adam's death.

Thanks to all of you for becoming a member of this group. I have been asked what does a member do in this group and I have to say it is all up to each member as to what can be done in this group. It may be just letting someone know that you cared enough to let them know you read what they had posted and they are not alone. One may just need to know there are prayers being offered up on their behalf. One may need to know they are not the only one that feels the way they feel at a certain moment in their life. You can help and share in this group anyway you see fit as long as it is for the good of the group, Please, this group of people do not need negativity. Thank you again for becoming a member of this group.

Thank you Florence for inviting me to the group. Eventhough my brother passed away in 1982, our loss is always ever present. As a Navy Veteran Mom, an Army sister and an Air Force and Marines aunt, my family and I support our United States Military and honor and respect all those who serve past and present. My 8 nephews and 3 neices are currently serving and my son just completed his 6 years in the Navy and is now home. 6 of my 9 brothers served in the Army during Vietnam. We lost John, our oldest, due to complications from injuries sustained in that war. He was an MP in the Army and I was very young (only 9 yrs old) when he joined. I miss him very much and pray for all those who are serving and for the families of those who have given the ultimate sacrafice. May God bless them all and our country.

I am most honored and pleased to have been invited to join this group. Few such occasions arise in a man's life, when he is privileged to stand with true heroes. I am and will remain prepared to contribute in any way I can to help this group. As Florence so eloquently mentioned, this is not a group desiring to grow to large numbers. Yet, supporting those who do meet the high cost of entry is a wonderful mission.
