I have a question about final effects!
We did the final effects PCS inventory today, with the CaCos's and we had a mess of his work uniforms and coveralls with his name on them and the Petty officers said that we have to be careful about disposing of these. The dress whites and blues Jennifer is keeping. Does anyone have any idea what where and how we dispose of uniform items?

Was Doc Swink married?
Something tells me that he was?
And do we send cards to his wife?

D.O.D. has "Doc" Swink KIA on August 27th but the correct date is August 26th Laura wants everyone to know the correct date.

Thanks to everyone for sending cards to the Swink Family.

Today I stood for 4 services for the MIAP at the Georgia National Cemetary in Canton, Georgia, these services are for Vets with no family to honor them and served in WWII, Korea, VietNam, & Gulf War, ie... It is always sad but today I not only cried for these men with not family to say good-by but for the Swink Family having to say goodby to "Doc". God be with the Swink Family and give them strength and wrap Your arms around them.

We would like to send our deepest condolences to the Swink Family on the death of their treasured son, PO3 James M. Swink. All Navy Moms hurt when we hear news like this. I wish I could reach across the country and offer you a warm, Navy hug. We will keep your family and friends in our thoughts and prayers thru the long days that lay ahead. God Bless you all.
