Thanks so very much Cora for your and everyone else's prayers; the doctor was able to put a new J-tube in without surgery and I am back home and about to go to bed and hope to feel better tomorrow.

Jennifer has asked me to get on here and give a blanket thank you right away, and to tell to each and everyone you that has sent a card that it will take some time to answer each and everyone of them personally.

THANK YOU!

We all must reach out to each other for strength with all the lost we as a country have endured and encourage each to carry on for that is what our sons and daughters would want us to do. We must also give support to those parents of our missing as well as those parents with sons and daughters on active duty and all of our military everywhere. Those of us Gold Star Parents do not need to pray for our children because we know they are with God now, however we do need to pray for all the living. We must ask our God to save our country and bring our sons and daughters now on other grounds other than our's home safely to their families and give us peace. We must always be here for each other so I send you all my love and prayers and let you know I am here for you anytime.

Carl and David I am so very sorry for the lose of your sons, I do understand how you are feeling, but I also want to tell you both also are doing the right thing by reaching out. It is through reaching out to others that I have gain great strength also sharing your feeling are very good for you as well as for those you share with in this group. I can not tell you it will get better in time because we all deal with our grief in different ways, but I can tell you that whatever you feel is ok and let your wives and children know this also. The most important thing is to not hold your feeling inside because it is not healthy. I am sending my love, hugs and prayers and if I can do anything for any of you please let me know.

Carl, this is funny to say now! I know what you are going through.
Words do not say enough.
I will keep you in prayers.

BTW, here's a tribute page that one of his friends created on Facebook. It's easier to see what a wonderful young man he was.
