Once sailors are done with "A" school, they are required to complete "C" school (specialty or technical school). There are 5 different schools and as far as I know (I could be wrong) they don't get…Continue

Paul, I strongly believe that you guys are doing an awesome job on this site..and I see that every days more and more dads (a few moms too) are joining.."The sky is the limit" (not an air force promotion..lol).
Intimidation can be a good thing......daughter Kat's mom is a second degree black belt and for quite a while she had about 75 or so of her trophies (she used to compete nationally) along the entry hall from the front door....don't think future boyfriends didn't get the message real fast....don't mess with Kat...and for goodness sake...don't make mama mad!!!!!
Hey Patio, men a 357 for your daughter..that's it no boyfriends.. You gave me a good idea..lol. My daughter a few days before she left for bootcamp I took her to the range but she was so afraid of the noise and got nervous but she did good on small weapon qualification. So
you have a lot of experience as an IS or at least doing their work..and you saw a Russian ship in Norfolk..wow!! Since you like to keep up with the latest intel, check this site (if you don’t have it) . Thanks for stopping by!!
You have to remember that while N4M is paid for by the US Navy (cosidered a recruiting site), NavyDads is totally run by a few of us nutty dads....advertising is just outside of our funding (read that as no funding!!!).
Brother, I wish there were a way to advertise this. I didn't even know about Navydads until about six months ago. I am going to email Mike and see if he would be willing to talk to some of the people in his section to see if their fathers would be willing to join this group.
Hi Jim, I know, I feel the same way here. I't still hard for me to get used to the fact that my daughter cant share much of the things that she does. we have always been so close and she knows how much i love the military stuff. Yesterday she told me that next week is going to be open house at her office for close family members, but because of my job, I just cant take time off in a short notice if is not an emergency, but I told her for sure next year. Men I'm so happy to see activity on this page. We got you, Patio and David. hopefully the others will follow soon. Thanks Jim!!!
Gil good sir, I must admit I am envious and a little jealous of people that can post pictures of their sailors on the job. Even on Facebook, the USS George Washington page they have pictures of different duty sections and the people that work there. I do look and on occasion see a post from a proud parent and wish I could do the same. God bless them.
My daughter scored Expert on her bootcamp pistol quals. Yeah! I'll be sure to tell all her future boyfriends that too. I got her a LadySmith 357 for her 18th birthday. Some things really do pay off. :-)
Yes Sir..you're right..not actual pics from their jobs, but like the ones that I posted from youtube, I'm always searching for anything related to IS. But I agree with you..we don't have the luxury from other groups to have our children caught in action on their jobs..lol
I have a few pictures of him here, but will post more. Yes, he loves Japan. I was in Mildenhall, England dacades ago and loved it. Mind you with the pictures none of them are IS related, and I don't think any of us will ever see anything as such.
NavyDads mission is to Provide Support, Encouragement, and Knowledge to Sailors and their Families throughout their Journey together in the United States Navy.
