I understand, it is normal to dislike the team and player that causes your team the most difficulties. Like Brett leading us to 7 division titles from 1995 to 2007 in the good old black and blue division. Both teams have storied histories and have been rivals because of each others success. Enjoy the season.

Ok, now it becomes clear, I knew there was something Mark had an issue with. Bears fans have not been very happy with us the past few years. And I'm sure once again after week 1. Oldest and best rivalry in the NFL. Makes it exciting.

Thank you Brad- I was all the way in Sau Paulo doing a training and someone in the back of the crowd yelled Go Packers. So the question is really - how far do you have to go before you don't find a Packer Fan. Green and gold runs in our blood :)

Hold on Mark. You may be surprised how many fans are out here. Some of us born in Wis. will always support our team, and bleed green and gold, as only true fans do. Bruce, I am glad you showed our colors, it is great to see. Garrett has a small group of Packer fans in Atsugi that still follow win or lose, and is fun for them to root them on even if they never lived there!

Congrats to Kevin for a well deserved medal, quite an honor! You should be proud Lee.

It has been some time since I posted, but a lot has been going on. Kevin's ship passed INSURV! This is a major accomplishment because the LSDs have a history of failing them and the Tortuga is now the only LSD in service that has passed! In preparation for the INSURV inspection, Kevin was assigned to a special team composed of primarily Petty Officers and their job was to make repairs to the ship in the fan room, painting, and getting things in working order. This involved a lot of time and effort and Kevin learned earlier this week he will be the recipient of the Navy Achievment Medal! He is very excited (as he should be)...so much so, he just volunteered to pull a 24 hour watch for the XO.

Like Mike, the chat on Facebook is our main means of communication right now, but Kevin is looking at getting a new laptop since his camera is messed up and then we are gonna give Skype a try. Sorry for the long post, but I just had to share this news. To top things off, Kevin finally made it to E3 two days ago and he is already studying for his 3rd Class PO exam which he plans on taking next March...lol
