Although my sailor is stateside, I have lots of friends in Japan and still send boxes to the BR and some to base. it's a great base and there's lots to do and see.

My wife Liz and I are heading down to Newark airport this afternoon to pick up our daughter Jackie who is flying home from Japan today. She will be home for two weeks. We had a long Skype call with Jessica Christmas night as she had liberty from the Stennis. A healthy and happy new year to all sailors and their families.
Glad you had a great Holiday with your daughter. I got 2 nice long skype calls in with my son Chrsitmas Eve and Christmas Day. Happy New Year everyone!
A great 2 1/2 week visit ends tomorrow when my daughter returns to Yokosuka. It was a great reward for a year and a half of hard work.
