We picked up our sailor at the airport last night and he will be home through the 12th...great to see him, and he is so happy to be back in the states for a couple of weeks!
Love the pictur, Amazing. thanks.
merry christmas
A very Merry Christmas to all those who have sailors serving in Japan!
This is a picture of the presents that we sent to 50 or 60 of the single Sailors in Yokosuka. Friends of ours, who are missionaries in Yokosuka, wrapped them and will distribute them on Christmas. Our son, Heath, is on the right. We don't know the other two Sailors..yet. But maybe someone out there does. Anyone? Hope they are blessed by the gifts!
Our son is going camping this weekend for Christmas! So glad that he is feeling well enough to go. PT is going great and he is just about off of his crutches...just 8 days out from his surgery!
Praying that you all have a wonderful Christmas and a blessed and very safe New Year!
Hello everyone. i have'nt been on here for awile so i just wanted to say happy holidays to you and your sailors. My good news is that even though my son Eric won't be home for christmas,he will arrive at o,hare airport on the morning of the 30th. i can't wait. He has to go back on the 13th of Jan. That's to short. You think they would give the sailors more time than that seeing that the price of a airplane ticket cost so much. Oh well sure am glad to see him again. Merry Christmas everyone and have a great new year.

Ed, enjoy! It's a Great base, miss it terrible and all the sailors!
Theresa, glad you got to skype him. he'll be busy for a few days, but they really do take care of them.
Greetings from Yokosuka Naval base! Had a great day today, walked the whole base and some of downtown. Saw the "love hotel" previously mentioned. Tomorrow the Shiloh is sponsoring a tour to the Emperor's Palace in Tokyo. Can't wait. Staying at the Navy Lodge on base, everything is quite nice. I am impressed with the atmosphere and attitude on the base. Our military folks are above and beyond.
