Paul is coming back to the States, I know he is leaving behind some really good friends. He will be home for a cpl of weeks before heading to Pennsicola Florida, where he will be posted.
@Fishdad- Great to hear that you are spending quality time with Heath. Enjoy your time together! @Cora- Glad you heard from Brooklyn, hope she is doing great.
Today is "Friendship Day" here on the Base in Yokosuka. It's a day where they allow the Japanese to visit the base and take a look around. Lot's of activities and fireworks tonight. Heath and I are looking forward to watching the fireworks from his hospital room. It will be a great diversion. I'm off to the hospital now....I'm told to get there before they open the gates because once they do it gets quite busy!
Great news about Heath!
Great news about Heath. He will continue to be in my prayers.
So glad and very thankful to hear excellent news about Heath!
I truly believe that the many prayers were answered. Keep praying for Heath's improvement.
We have very thankful hearts today. The doctor was in a while ago and told us that he doesn't understand how, but the abscess is alot smaller and doesn't require surgery. The plan is to allow his body to continue fighting the infection. Once the infection is all cleared up they will give him about 5 weeks to mend and then they will go in and remove the appendix. Then...they will allow him to mend from that surgery for a month and then do surgery to repair the the torn meniscus. It's going to be a very long road to travel. But we are headed in the right direction! Please continue to pray for him. Thank you all so much!
