Robert you are going to have such fu. I have saved all Justen's emails over the last 4 years. I want to print them out and put them in a scrap book for him. Love SD. Wish Justen was there we could have set them up to meet each other. Still in RIMPAC 2010. Not back to SD until after the first week of August sometime there abouts.

USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) The Lincoln Strike Group has arrived safely in San Diego. We have TONS of great pictures and videos coming over the next few weeks so stay tuned.

People go nuts when you post it whule they are in port. I agree, if the Navy is advertising it it is safe. There are usually multiple newspaper articles out. When the Reagan went to Thailand the Tailand newspaper had aricles that listed the dates they would be in port 2 weeks before they got there. I found that that to be alarming. The were doing a local cean it up campagin. Trying to get people ready and the city cleaned up.

I figure the best way to stay OPSEC safe is not to post anything till the Navy posts it themselves.

Haze Gray and underway!! Must be heading to ports in distant places. Waiting to hear of the places he's been. That is how you can keep OSPEC safe. Telling where he has been will not put him at risk or the ship... Regan won an award for RIMPAC2010. Can't tell you what it was, been so busy with work. They have a big inspection coming up. Things like that on the ships keep them very busy. When he was first on the ship he would be with a paint can touching up spots all over the work center. Now he is supervising work all over the ship that the work center does. Well I need to to get back to work. Mitch how's school going?

I hope you find the joy I have found in watching my son explore. The work can be hard but they learn fast. Thanks for letting me be part of your group. Happy Birthday United States of America. Have a safe and joyous 4th.

I hope he gets what he wants. Justen loves SD only problem is you can't come home over a long week end. We flew out and stayed at his apartment. I searched internet for tickets. Was only $576 round trip for both of us. My husband and I had not flown anywhere in almost 20 years. We have paid more than that to fly Justen home one New Years.
