Hello. My son is MM2 aboard the USS Ronald Reagan. He is busy 24/7. So many things to keep up and fix. Have been up close to the ship but never on it because of security and a problem the month before he re enlisted.

Son did not want to report till the day he had to, we spent our time sightseeing Seattle, I really wanted to but didnt let him know that small sacrifice from me for such a brave son

Were you able to go on the base or anything?
Comment by Robert Hartman on June 12, 2010 at 9:38pm
If you go up to Great Lakes to visit they can take you on base and show you around, be prepared to walk a ways. We went and visited after he had phase 2 Liberty and a duty free weekend.

Nothing, ship tours for the Lincoln are only on weekends, we arrived Mon. afternoon I had to fly home weds the day he reported to base, only saw the ship from the top of the hill. My day will be when they return to port next spring.
