Finally a call home, not directly though he called his GF last night and told her to pass along he was OK. He is supposed to call home tonight if he gets phone time ,says the waiting line is extremely long.

Did you send them by mail? I use to send care box by mail every two weeks. They have a flat rate Priority Mail box that is $12 to send. It would get to the ship in about 3 weeks, Watching his weight so we sent sugar free drink mix and beef jerky. Febreeze chap stick..... Small things and snacks. We even sent silly things at times. Just a box from home. He shared with his friends and got so he would e mail us if the box was not there on time. Fastest he got one was ten days longest was 5 weeks. Did not send they any differently just know that the mail leaves San Diego each Thursday for the Reagan.

Remember he is still new to the ship. He may be just trying to figure everything out. Time is tight. Computer use can be limited. Hard to get onto some times. My son happens to be an E5 and he is using the computer daily with work. Give it time Gag. If thigs were bad you would hear sooner.
