Dennis, she is a very active member of N4Ms. We couldn't make the Meet n Greet due to prior commitments. Hopefully we'll make the next one.

Mark, why not have your wife join N4M group MarylandMoms? There's a lot of nice and informative people on there from all over the state. We were out with 3 of them on Sunday for brunch. You should check it out for your self. My wife's user name is Birknma.

Dennis, my wife lives on N4Ms. Our son is going to language school and there is a real good chance he may end up stationed at NSA. LOL

Steve, we live in Clarksville in western Howard County. Just wondering if your son used someone's cell phone to call home. Our son used his and then packed it in the box and mailed it home. Don't expect the recruiters to be overly helpful. Their job is done. There is Chief Grubb on here that is out of the Philadelphia Recruiting District (which MD is a part of) and she is very helpful. She got my son's address for us before we received the letter. Our son left on Tuesday, completed the form letter on Friday and we received it this past Friday, a week later. You will hear this week.

Actually, he called when he got to GL. It was 1:00 am, and the area code read Arizona. I don't know anyone I want to talk to in Arizona, especially at 1am, so I turned over in bed. The voice mail was more than a little P.O.-ed. "I'll call in 3 weeks, I hope you can be bothered to pickup then"

Ah well.

Don't have a mailing address yet. Suddenly the recruiters ain't answering their phone.

Gripe, gripe, gripe. No news is good news.

You should be getting a phone call in a week or so. It was three weeks before I heard from my son.

I'm kinda hoping he gets around here, close to home. My boss and coworker were in the Navy now we're working on the stuff. Is your better half on Navy for Moms? The more the better.
