That's a good question, Ralph. I don't know either.  My son graduates on March 18th.  Anyone know the answer?

Does any body know the name of the facility that MA's graduate in?

Joe, get ready to relearn your world geography!  I now have a globe on my desk to keep up with all 3 of my sons (all in the navy).  At least my youngest is on a ship that actually has it's own Facebook page and the CO updates it with photos and some information fairly frequently so far.

My son graduated from RTC last Friday, January 21st, and he is now at Lackland in A School for MA. I'm looking forward to the news and views from this group.

Last Friday was mythic cold in Great Lakes, which will add to the legend of my son's PIR!  I didn't wear a suit and tie, but I dressed in slacks, dress shirt, and many, many, layers! I won't be able to attend his graduation from A School, but I'm trying to get one of my brothers to go, so a family member will be able to pin his badge.  I didn't know we could do that!

Lowell-We just found out that my MA who graduates in a couple of weeks volunteered to go to the area that your MA is in.

Wow, just got an 11 minute phone call from somewhere between Kuwait, the Horn of African and 3 or 4 other locations.  Sounds like our MA's are terribly undermanned.  The good news was that the wind has really kicked up and it is so cold that "encounters" have dropped way off.  Wish I was 20 again so I could be out there as well!  Semper Fortis kids!

Greg, Your Son be in his dress uniform for this ceremony, I feel you should also be in your best for a show of respect for his and your special day and taking pictures together, if you are pinning him!         Thanks Mr. Santucci for your comment          Cheers EL

Jim I like ur Comment.... I did not make it to my sailors pinning but I was dressed in Suit and Tie for his PIR. I cannot say that for a lot of other people there that day.
