Congradulations Deneen on your daughter being a Honor Grad Nominee in Basis you should be very proud of her. My son learned how to secure Building and help out with the dreaded OC spray in the first two weeks getting a little on him then again the third week got spray himself in the eyes with OC. He said it the worst thing he had ever been through. The next couple week he liked because them got to shoot deferent types of weapons. The last weeks is learning the naval laws and lots of tests ! She will do fine : )

Clemmis, I'll be staying at the Care Free Inn about a stones throw from Lackland AFB close to the main gate. We will be leaving S.A. Friday to get back to Michigan because Kris will have Recruiter Duty for a week in Livonia,Mich. starting Monday morning. Hope to see you at their MAA Graduation ! CHEERS, EL

Hi all. It's been a while since I've been here - had to get through PIR first before I started to follow her MA activties. She PIR'd 11/24/10, honor division, honor grad nominee (I'm not proud). Anyway, looking for some tips, advice, etc. She begins processing @ Lackland 11/29/10

Elbert, where are you staying while in SA? I am at the Sleep Inn for like $35.00 with flights scheduled out on Saturday. I hope Sarah will have completed out processing by then. I think your son along with Sarah and Toledo are going out to a nice dinner tonight since they had duty yesterday.

I guess it all depends on your perspective, right? Hope our sons can enjoy some good food for Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving to you as well. ~Jim

Jim, Funny isn't Chris would like to go out on a mission and Sean would like to get back to Bahrain for a couple of weeks, he is still out at sea. we did get a email address from him and have been in touch almost daily until earlier this week when all of a sudden we have been getting message delayed messages from Sean's email. They have been traveling with a carrier group and have a feeling they are on the move again. Last we heard he could not really say where they were but did say there were some scary moments from fly overs by a hostile country.

Shane - thanks. Haven't heard from Chris since he did the demo. He wasn't sure if he was going to get any photos of that. He's doing ok in Bahrain, but he's still waiting to go on a mission out of the country. I think he'd like to travel around the region more, like Sean and his other MSF friends. Have you heard from Sean? How's he doing?
