Question for anyone; My daughter has orders for Guam after upon completion of MA school in a couple of weeks, She is under the impression that she will have to return to San Antonio to fly out but I thought she would get a flight assigned from Sana Antonio and we could reroute the flight after her leave so that she could leave from home and fly to Guam. Let me know what you might know...

Got more news today from our son and he has his next duty assignment. In July he will be heading to Tinker AFB for what ever it is he will be doing. He only could say that he will be doing alot of flying and oh yeah,he hates to fly.Well at least he will be back state side and only about 5 hrs from home.I have been reading some of the comments by proud dads and many congrats to your sons and daughters.Love to see the pride of a parent on their kid.

WOW Jim I can understand how proud of Chris dictation working with Cyril. You get a dogs love and trust they will do almost anything for you trying to make you happy. It's great that he get to demonstrate for the King of Bahrain of what Cyril and him can do. It's something he can tell his great children about : ) My Kris pick orders for Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. He is second in his class of 30 so far.

Hey Jim, that's great news. Sounds like Chris is doing really well. Finally got a email from Sean this AM, still at sea somewhere in the Indian Ocean.

Hey Navy Dads - it's so great to read how your sons and daughters are doing! Now it's my turn to brag. My son (Chris) is currently serving in Bahrain as an MA (MWD-military working dogs). When he arrived there last summer, he was assigned to a dog that was on the verge of being released from service and given up for adoption. Chris was very frustrated for the first few weeks. But he (and his dog Cyril) stuck with it and he was able to recertify for bomb detection (he was given a commendation for turning Cyril around). Ok - here's the good part: Chris has been working with Cyril to also become a patrol dog (these are the ones trained to attack) and nobody thought he could do it. Not only has he done it, but he's been so successful that the Navy has arranged for him to do a demonstration in front of the King of Bahrain, Hamad ibn Isa Al Khalifa, on November 24. He just called to tell me that he was the "shit" around the kennel. Hahaha! I'll try uploading a photo.

Hi, Greg...When my son went through the OC spray last Feb he said it was the worst thing and never wanted that experience again. He already knew to have some baby shampoo or some yogurt on hand to wash it away from his eyes. Good luck and God speed to Josh on his first assignment.

Yes Clemmis, Kris was always a competitor in sports as I hear it your daughter and Kris played some basketball together, he said she was a really good player and they are good friends now. Baseball first then golf are his sports. They will get to see their orders Wednesday and have Friday to pick them. Kris told me he earned a sharpshooter medal at lackland AFB : ) Hope this Veteran day turns out to be a Wonderful day for all the Men and Women that is serving now and have serviced our country in the past keeping us Safe and Free men THANK YOU ALL and GOD BLESS AMERICA

Elbert, my daughter is in the same class with your son and she said he is quite competitive and doing very well. She thinks they should have a chance tomorrow to pick their next duty station.
