Lawrence, It good she has a family to go back to that I know will give her the support she needs. May god be with her to guide her through these minor heath issue so she can serve her country in the U.S. Navy once again but if not, tell her it's countrymen are proud her for wanting too!!! I pray that god blesses her and leads her down the path that best for her. : )

Our thoughts, prayers and best wishes are with your daughter and family.
A few weeks ago I heard something that may help, "The only thing that has changed is the wind direction and it is up to you if you want to turn and sail with the wind or tack and drive forward."

Last update on my daughter for a while. She is being discharged with an RE-8. Apparently only the Navy while in RTC uses this code. It allows individuals with a minor medical issue (or other minor 'failure to conform to military standards') a 2 year chance to become "Fit for Duty" and to re-try it. I don't know where her head is at this point, but she will be home within 2 weeks and I'll get a better understanding of where she's at and what she wants. Thank you for all your support and information. Hopefully I'll be back on here again giving updates with her going through the system again. Only time will tell.

Thank you and good luck to all your children doing what they can to serve the US Military.
