Hey Shane - are you on Facebook? I see that Chris and Sean communicate via FB from time to time.

That's great Shane! Hopefully you can post some of his pics here. Chris called me at 0500 this morning saying that he was officially on leave. Fortunately I was able to get him a flight out to Seattle tonight. He needs to be at Norfolk by July 7, then off to join Sean in Bahrain.

Finally heard from Sean about 1200AM our time, said things were going great he finally got his first mission coming up sometime in July. He's pretty excited. Said he still has not got the wireless for his room but that is what he will be working on this week. Got a tour of Bahrain this last weekend and got some great pictures so hopefully will be seeing that soon.

I assume that Sean must be really adjusting, I had heard from him on the 15th and said that he was doing well etc. I guess his sister heard from him yesterday and said that he seemed to be pretty happy. I sure would like to hear from him

Shane - definitely very proud of him. He's excited to be done with training and to actually get to the real work. Let me know when you hear from Sean. Like you, I'm curious to know how things are going over there.

Chris graduated from the Military Working Dog program yesterday. He earned both "Top Dog" awards and received a Commanders Coin from his commanding officer.

Happy Father's Day to all you guys too. We were fortunate enough to have dinner with our son, Justin and his wife in Bremerton on Sat night because he had to work on Sun...up at 3am and report for water patrol at 4am until 6pm. Long day!

Yeah, I know the feeling. I had hoped to hear from Sean but I would expect him to be pretty busy. Happy Father's day to you all.
