Hi everyone!!! To those that are planning on the pinning, have fun and congrats to you and your sailors. I pinned my son in Dec. 2008. Memories will forever be with me.

Hey Kyle, I heard you son had a great time at the Gateway one night! My son also want to thank him for the watch replacement! We also had a wonderful time in Texas to the point where my wife and I are going to look into something for our retirement as several of the folks I have worked with have done!

Scott, sounds like you had a great time! My son got to march in the parade and said it was fun and pretty overwhelming, in a good way, the response they got from the crowd. I get to do his pinning on the 14th of May then my wife & I head for RTC to see our 3rd son graduate from bootcamp on the 21st. Sam told me last night that he was going to get me a Challenge coin this week.

Hey Scott, how did you like San Antonio.I saw that ya'll were downtown, its really cool down there isn't it.Did you and your family go on the riverboat ride along the riverwalk at nite.I saw your referance to the Alamo and I hope you were able to find all the referance points around town that are related to it.Glad you had a great time during your stay in our great state. There is alot of great food places there also, hope you got to enjoy them.

Just got back from Tony's Graduation and Pinning. Got to pin on his badge and during our stay at SA it was Fiesta Downtown. It was also Navy Week and they did quite a few demonstrations in front of the Alamo. Had great weather and a very nice time. After Grad, he received his orders etc. and will be home tomorrow for 12 days before going to Norfolk. As an ex-MAA I am very impressed with the training they have received during the 7 weeks.
