I had to laugh at Sean this week, he spent most of last week doing HARP duty with the recuriters and hanging out with them. He spent some time with me yesterday ( I needed to haul some hay etc) while we were doing that he was getting phone calls and texts from his pals that have already arrived in Gulf Port. He finally told me that he has enjoyed being home but was ready to head back to work and more training. I think that the Navy has been a great choice for him.

Kyle, Pinning for my son is the 23rd. He is just completing Weapons I guess, he already shot the M9 and was supposed to shoot M16 Friday. Said this is the best part of the school so far, go figure, those MAA;s burning through all of the ammo on our tab! Glad they are enjoying training that is what it is all about.

Hello Scott.Glad to here tony is doing goodsounds like je and jon are on the same level.jon scored in the 90's on his test also and then called me after he got o c'd.he told me it was just as he remembered from training at blackwater.he hasn't said much about the food but he sure does like the quaters they are put up in. i asked him if he had ran into your son yet and he said no not yet but he will keep an eye out for him.Jonsaid this first week was very busy and next week they should get into weapons training. we took several pictures of the ww2 planes at the base and i was surprised at the rooms they are put in. have a good one and hope to meet you at the pinning.

He really likes it, some of the food is not that good and it seems like they repeat their menu quicker than the Navy does. Other than that he says it is just fine but a lot of work.

My sailor is hanging in, through OC, Shooting, and PRP Qualified. Has had 20 of his 45 shipmates setback from original class. Now has about 12 more in his class who were set back from the class a head of him. Says he is studying hard and has some good grades on this tests in the 90's.

he seems pretty happy doing it, he really enjoyed hanging out with his recuriters again.

That is weird, Sean is here in Yakima doing some sort of Recuriting duty for the next week or so (apparently he got 5 extra days for doing this). I spoke to his sister for awhile today and she said that (he is staying with his sister and mother) no one has really seen him that much as he has been hanging out with the recuriters and his buddys. I think he will start to miss his family when he is been in Bahrain for about 2 weeks of a 2 year stint. So Chris will be over in Bahrain also? as a handler? I just spoke with Sean and he yep he and Chris are pretty tight and he is looking forward to being in Bahrain with him

Hey Shane. I was talking to my son this evening asking him about MSF. In the course of the conversation your son's name came up. It turns out that Sean and Chris are good friends. Small world, huh?
