Terry, scroll down in this group to the post by Charles W on November 24. It gives a week by week breakdown of training activites. My son Mark is getting pinned December 11 and will report to Kings Bay on Dec 28. We are excited that he will get leave over the holidays. He has been very positive and upbeat about his training at Lackland. Good luck to Justin.

Charles, W: that was great info. Thanks for posting that. My son, Justin, is at Lackland right now for A-school but won't start until Jan 3. Anything you can find out on the rest of the weeks would be appreciated. My son is stoked about being an MA and hopes to get stationed here in Bremerton, WA.

Greetings fellow MA parents. Our son just had his PIR on 04Dec09 and flew out to San Antonio, TX on Sat. This is his first week in TX so we're hoping to hear more from him soon. He lost 10lbs at BC but is in great shape. I'm sure most of his civies won't fit anymore and will have to be donated too!

Nadine, it was the same with my daughter. when she came home from bootcamp, she tried on all of her clothes and set aside what she wanted. the rest we bagged up and donated.

Ok. thanks for the suggestion. I heard he might not fit his regular clothes after all the push ups. He is doing well now. very happy to hear it. OC spray. yikes. rather ouch.

First week down. Ranked this weeks tests. Bravo Zulu'd on the takedowns and practical applications. Highly motivated. OC spray next week. She is happy and proud. I love to hear her explain things. I think she is having an "Art of War" moment. She keeps saying "Do it while it's easy!" and talking about "Intestinal Fortitude." This is fun. Nadine, probably some lounge around clothes. lots of studying first week, if his class starts up.

ok. I have a question. If all goes well my son will be in San Antonio the first week of January for training. what can I get him for Xmas that would be helpful for him when he gets there? All his clothes will be Navy. He has a laptop, cellphone, and I think he still has an IPOD. Anything he might like to take or help him with his training? Thanks.

Working Parties and Holiday Duty. Welcome to the Navy ladies and gentlemen. Settled in. Sounds very enthusiastic. This is gonna be fun. Didnt have to remind her about Working out. She found the fitness center on her own. Ohh Rah!!! Knows about OC spray and take-downs. Doesnt seem worried at all. Looking forward to getting it out of the way, actually. to be cont.....
