Congratulations to my daughter Amber. She made the list for promotion to MA3 that came out today.

Terry,

my son is in kings bay, it sounds like your son is going to be part of PRP, i can't really tell you what he is going to be doing it is something he will have to tell you.

My son graduates from MA school in December and then is off to Kingsport Georgia. He said he will be doing something with subs i think, can someone enlighten me on this.

Thanks

Thanks guys! We live a new normal now. My son can't say much, but it's been bittersweetly interesting being able to occasionally communicate with him during the last month. I would send him a Facebook message, then I would receive a satphone call which would identify itself from the other side of the globe, which still flummoxes me. Mostly I have to strain to hear him over the whoosh of wind across the deck of his ship...good thing he inherited my dad's booming high baritone...

Very sorry for your loss. I lost my dad 26 years ago and I still miss him every day. My thoughts are with you.

BZ for Chris just for doing what he does!! Awesome work.

Sorry for your loss, Ray....I know what you are feeling.....

My condolences Ray. I can only imagine what you are going through.

I hope that this group can continue to be a bright spot for you. And I'm sure that Chris deserves a BZ for his RivRon mission!!!

Jeez, Hummers suck too, down here in NYC. But BZ to Caity!

I've been off the grid for a while, but glad to be back. We just buried our Dad yesterday, out at Calverton, L.I. The brief ceremony was powerful, and was very emotional for me, especially seeing one of the honor guard was an MA2, just like my son Chris, who is on mission with RivRon right now. But it's great to read all the good stuff in this group! Hooyah!
