Jeff, had a great time with Amber. Yes to short and due to other circumstances could not spend as much time with her as i would have liked. Christmas day was both a great day and a sad day as we bid Amber goodbye. I would loved to have gone to the airport on the 26th but her cousin took her instead. They had to get up and be on the road at 2am inorder to get there by 5am. Better youngfolks then this old folk.

Jay, we had it a better than expected visit with Jason. He got to do everything he wanted to do. Yesterday was a sad day. Took him to the airport for his epic trip to Okinawa. The airports he visited yesterday and today. Santa Ana, California, Dallas, San Antonio, Houston Texas, Seattle, Washington, and final stop kadena afb.  His 2 older brothers met him in Seattle so the whole family got to see him before he left.   It started out a cold rainy day.  Hope you had a great visit with amber

Tom, is Caity about to get adjusted to the routine at her latest duty station?

Amber, has finished leave and is now starting the slow journey to her next duty station. I already miss her.

Jeff how is Jason doing? Is he ready for his next adventure?

I hope everyone had a very chill Christmas. We spent three days with Chris down in Norfolk. I was quickly spoiled by the 50s temperatures, so being back in NYC was rather zippy the last two days! A happy and prosperous 2013 to everyone!

Merry Christmas everybody!

Jay,  It has been a great time so far, not even a week yet.  I think it will really set in late next week he will be leaving for a long time.  He is having a blast, gets to drive his car, eat when, what and where ever he wants too.  Jason slipped right into his old sleep patterns, helps to have black out shades in his room, keeps it pretty dark.  I see a big change in Jason, he is more responsable and I can see he is really starting to turn into a great young man.  Enjoy the few days with Amber, we wish her well and maybe someday their paths will cross again.  Have a Merry Christmas.

HI Jay. Glad to hear Amber is having fun at home on leave. It is well deserved.  Daniel said the OC spray was quite the experience.  He said the worst part of the spray was after he was done with the course and they were sitting around waiting for it to wear off.  He did say he went a couple rounds with the reflash.  That will be an experience he can talk about the rest of his life.

Mike, What did Daniel think of OC spray day. Did he have much trouble with it re-flashing.

Jeff R. I know you have been enjoying having Jason home. Amber is doing great but gets aggrevated about not sleeping in like she use to. She is trying to see how many of her old friends and relatives she can fit. Her best friend came in last from graduating AM school in pensacola.
