Darrin, your daughter will most certainly enjoy the freedom they get in A school and you will enjoy the ability to communicate again.  If you get a chance to attend her graduation, San Antonio is a pretty cool place to visit.  I stayed at the Gateway Inn on base and the Hilton downtown when I was there.  Enjoyed both but the Gateway was more affordable.  Bill, pretty awesome duty for your son to get on the VP's detail!  I'm hoping Ty gets to experience some of that.  He is currently caring for a dog that is being processed out.  Word is they are getting a new group of dogs in from Lackland this month and he will get assigned a new partner.  Other than that he seems to be having a great time with his new team.

Our Daughter Alyssa arrived in San Antonio Friday night for MA training.  Loved PIR and excited to see where she will go from here!

Thanks for the wishes Bob. Chris is going to Hooters for his first legal drink, which seems to be the official eatery/drinkery of the United States Navy...

And I was born about 1/2 mile from the old Yankee Stadium, and went to my first game in utero several months earlier! I can't wait until the games really mean something in October!

A happy 21st to your son. I shall have a toast to both of you as I watch the Yankees at Fenway Park. I was born approx 1/2 mile from Fenway so I guess you know who I am rootong for. CC had a great game last night, hopefully it will be our turn tonight, but your 1 up in the top of the 3rd. Again "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" to your son.

Today is my son's 21st birthday. It's the first one we have to celebrate apart, but I'm going to toast him at 8:40 pm tonight. If anyone remembers, please join me tonight. Hooyah!

Oh yeah, I just got back from vacation on the Cape yesterday...did I miss anything interesting?...

Nice detail, Bill! I would love to have a conversation with VP Biden, if only for the potentially humorous gaffes!

That's great Jeff! Now remember to coordinate your visit to Groton with the Yankees' home schedule in September! You can drop by Gate 2 and say hey!
