Ray, how did the graduation trip go for you?  Has Chris reported or come home after graduation?  I'm hoping my son will be home for a week or so when he gets done in SA.  Of course we are all planning on going down for that graduation as well.

Chris really enjoyed his chiefs too.  They treat the sailors differently from the start.

Just got home from my son's PIR.  He arrived in SA today and says, "its nice here and the Chiefs are nice....very weird."  I literally laughed out loud when I read that text.  Life is good!

I got a call from Kris and he said the waves at hit Hawaii with only a foot above normal on Oahu Island. I will pray that all servicemen in Japan made it though it Safely and out of harms way!

Got good news last night from our son,he is ok and they werent very worried about a sunami in the indian ocean.he also got his detatch date and he will be home in june for 30 days then headed to oklahoma.

There was news that all Navy personnel were safe and accounted for.

Thanks for the great insight and info Scott.  I think my son is leaning toward the gate and patrol car duties, especially since I hardly let him drive my car while he was still home.  I think he'll love the chance to do some driving on his patrols!  I'll pass your thoughts along.
