Legend Carroll Shelby passed away yesterday at age 89....his ability to design and build ass-kicking hot cars will be missed!!!!

Early race on Sunday, 1100 Central Time on Fox. Hope Eric is doing OK, has anyone heard his condition?

Jim, I am a Harvick and Kenneth fan. My wife is a Jr. fan, I am not but we still enjoy the race and give congrats to whoever wins. Same on this page. It is fun smack talking during the race but the winner deserves the credit regardless if it is my guy, your guy or someone else.
Only 36 have qualified so far and Kyle is 14th, can not wait to see the final order and get the race started Sunday.

There have been two recent events that have shaped how safety is addressed in racing....you NASCAR guys all know about Dale Sr...in drag racing, the death of Eric Medlen caused NHRA to re-evaluate virtually everything about drag racing and with the changes that were instituted several lives have been saved. I had the chance to talk with Eric at a number of events...he was a great guy....here is a tribute to Eric from JFR on the 5th anniversary of this death:
