Sorry to hear about your son, Michele. My youngest son is reporting to NS Norfolk today to serve on CVN77. He is a GM.

Hello all, regretfully I am having to leave Navydads :(. For reasons that are sketchy on the Navy's part my son was discharged Aug. 18th, 2009. I will keep my profile on Navydads so this group and other groups I have started will not be deleted. I wish all of you the best on your continued journeys :).

Hey fellas! What has been happening with you all and your sailors? We need to get more Oceana/Norfolk families in here -- sailors too! :) My son Wes finally got to start his C School, he is staying there for it too. It only took since Halloween when he graduated A School to finally get in hehehe. Well pop in and share something. God Bless

Hey Kevin - Welcome to the group! I apologize for my lack of attendance these days on here. . . started college March 1st and it is very demanding. Everything is good with Wes :). He has been working in the snackbar on base for a few months now trying to get that type work out of the way before his cruise next year. He said their squadron wants all their sailors on the job and not doing laundry duty, etc during the cruise. He is enjoying the easy work, maybe too much lol. How is everything with you? Have you gotten enough rain yet hehehe. Take Care & God Bless
