Navy Dads

I would like to start up a discussion group focused on Class 284.  Currently there is a great discussion group for Class 284 on the navy Moms website, but I thought it to be important for the Dad to discuss and share things pertaining to their Sailor.  If you are a father, grandfather, uncle nephew, cousin, etc... and your loved one is in buds Class 284 please post a discussion topic here.

Hi Steve. Great idea but may I suggest setting up a private group instead. This serves as the best way to follow OPSEC and truly carry on good discussions without it becoming publicly viewable. I learned this by experience and the gentle guidance of an older and wiser member here. May your sailor achieve great success!

Son is in 2 8 4 and I belong to N4M. Appreciate the news that I get on that site but sometimes the topics get carried away. Would appreciate a 2 8 4 being on Navy Dads. Thanks

Good point and I should have known better anyway.

Class 284 discussion group has been relocated to a private group. Thanks Eric for the heads up....
My son is in class 284 and actually having fun. Or so he said yesterday. I'm new to this site, having found it after I saw the mom's website. I visited my son this last weekend and he's a bit larger than last time I saw him (after boot camp), and looked good.
Please send the site address to me. Thanks

Mad Dog good to hear from you....since we are friends in this site all you have to do is click on picture to access my homepage and then go to my discussions and you will see it there. There has been no activity since I made it private. Even with it in my discussions I don't consider that private so we should still be aware of what we write about the evolutions and keep from mentioning theyre names. Grandpa replied and said he would keep up with how class 284 is doing. Hope I answered your question and if not write back on this thread...
