I hate to admit it, but I talked my son into joining the Navy just so I could wear these cool hats!!  Just kidding, but I am happy to find a hat group on Navy Dads!!

Even though appropriated spending funds has been slashed, the command can "raise" funds for these items which can include revenues generated from the commands ship's store, vending machines, etc... Somewhat of a good news ;)

So this came in the mail today, bringing my Navy ball cap collection up to two. I called the "Chucky V" home from 1983 to 1987.

With my son now entering his fifth week at Great Lakes, I suspect that my collection is about to grow considerably.

I'm pretty sure that one can't have too many caps.

I have a Surface warfare hat that I got at Trevor's P.I.R. ( I told him that I would get a new one when he achieved this pin), I have a captains hat from the U.S.S. Rentz (Trevor's ship) and I have a camouflage Navy Under Armor hat that Trevor got for me last yaer on Father's day.
