IRA green, inc. their website is igreen.com I believe. Probably can find them on Medals of America as well. But IRA has been a Navy supplier for fifty years.

Need help. My wife has wore a US Navy anchor since our son enlisted 16 years ago. He has now made Senior Chief and I wanted to get her a new one with the Senior Chiefs' star. I have been unable to find one.
Does anyone know if they make a senior chief's anchor?

If you know please post or send a mail to NO1REF@fuse.net

Thanks

Thanks to Robert and Terry on chat I saw this GREAT website: The Course to Midway

Check it out....rare interviews and rare movie footage and all kinds of info. It is the battle that turned the tide in the Pacific war

Hi guys ,a little update on the information I was looking for. After reading more files. I found a page stating that he was now part of the Amphibious forces and has earned the right to wear the Amphibious forces, insigna. So, I found alot more info on the amphibious forces website about his ship and contacted there website and just waiting to hear. I can't find a good picture of a LSM.

by the way snooky, it is navsource.org not .com sorry, just too used to the .com world I guess

Paul, I do WWII reenacting as a German, and my family as well was from Germany. We have many sources in our reenacting community for genealogical research, so give me an email and I'll see if I can get you in touch with a couple of them

it's an easy way to spend many hours searching the internet....with all the stuff on TV recently about genealogy I've been searching for German records....my mom (born and rasied in Germany) had traced her genealogy back to the 13th century...naturally when her family escaped while being shelled by the Russians all that was lost and destroyed....I've hit dead end after dead end in trying to track her stuff down....I've hit dead end after dead end trying to track my dad's Army stuff down----it can really be trying and frustrating....but I've run across some really amazing internet sites!!!
