thanks Molly i'll ask my sailor what she has planned and if she's bought everything yet.

Cora, You can stow away in my luggage! I'd love to take you with us. funny story, as soon as we bought our tickets, we had enough air miles! see how that works. LOL told sailor she could use them to come home for one of the up coming weddings.

Thanks AK mom :)
Blondie --- do you know about the JR pass ? I dont know if you are touring japan by rail, but if so you need to look into the JR pass. You must purchase it outside Japan online then you take the reciept to the JR counter w/ your passport and get your pass. A JR pass is an all inclusing pass on all Japan rails and for a much cheaper price.
for a 30 day unlimited for us is 90.00 a piece, vs abotu 15.00 a day to ride. ((food for thought))

Molly, thanks for the e-mail address, I'm getting excited also. I have a big diocese teen evant at my house this weekend, then nothing scheduled well, thanksgiving with my other kids we are doing thanksgiving, hubby's b-day and christmas all at once. so as soon as this weekend is over I'm going to start going thru what i'm packing! my daughter asked that we pack lite, we're staying with her and their houses are small. but what a experience! the 2nd week my sailor took off work so we are going on a tour of Japan! lol so will have to meet up with you early on. can't wait to meet you! wish i lived closer I'd love to help with MAS. but hubby says I do enough, still sending boxes to her friends from BC and the ME besides there in Japan. keeps me hopping. lol

I'm still on N4M it's my life line, especially the one for daughters. when it gets to sappy, i just leave or stop reading for awhile. I figure we all need somewhere t vent once in awhile. i'm a don't ask, unless you want my opinion kind of girl. LOL

And on the drama.....sad but true.....but I only experienced this with a couple people. The majority are so kind and helpful.....but it only takes a couple bad apples.....

Crystal, glad to hear the good news..Glad to see you back on line..The good Lord is watching over you and OCS is a great opp for his career.6 hrs form home (priceless).
Cora, a trip to Japan what at way to spend the holidays. please post photos.
Navy DadMark- both sites have value and will agree they can be confusing. I visit both since N4Ds for tech info and straight up answers and it is not as busy (I am a vet of the USN/AF and have been attached to the DoD for many years); however, N4Ms addresses my emotional side. Also they have great insight ideas for care packages, etc. Yet, having been the military for over 24 yrs in various fashions, and raising two boys on my own, the comments one can find a bit challenging, but when one's emotional side comes into play, I can feel and understand their position.
