My sailor is home on leave until 10/3. He lost his best friend (father) wore dress blues today and organized the pall bearers. Hard day I am sad and I miss my best friendand husband, Dave was Navy retired and did 2 tours in Vietnam. Full military honors. What a killer that is. Tears on everyone's face.

Hey Ladies....and thanks guys for welcoming us here!

I recognize a few moms fro N4M.

My son Lynch had PIR on 8/13/2010. He's now in Pensacola for Aircrew. My hubby and my ex are both on this site....thanks for providing everyone with a place to come to share.

He say the school is 10 weeks in Va. The people on here said Cherry Point NC. I think it is most likely in VA. I am sure that is what the detailer told him. He will be there for a full three years or until his enlistment ends. In May he will have 3 years left on his enlistment.
Glad to hear you are still going to see your Daughter. What a trip that will be.

Justen will be back in S.D. next week not home in PA. Ships movement

is his contract at FL for all 3 years? what a releif for you! where will his schooling be? maybe (hopefully) close to you?! don't worry about May, he's coming home next week! I'm so happy for you HUGS!

we're still planning our trip to Japan, alittle scarey but I'll make it just to see her!!!!

He is not due to go to shore until May 2011. Will be on shore duty for 3 years. He will be done in three years unless he makes it a carreer. I think he will be happy there. Only about 3 hours from his Grandparents 8 months out of the year. He'll be back home next week so we can talk again then. May seems so far off. I do remember feeling that way when he chose to re enlist. So I will just watch the time fly by.

I had a call from Ship this morning. Had to call as he was leaving. Detailer got back to him. Penciled in for orders for next Spring. School O2N2 about 90 days. Then onto Key West, Florida. He got his 3rd choice but first choice for school. We are so Happy he will be back on the East Coast. My parents will be several hours from him.
This is what he wanted.
