Blondie you know you can take your camera card to walmart and print off pictures or make a disc? That is what we did with some of our pictures. You can chose which ones so it is good.

Blondie USS BR has face book site and lots of pictures. Just like reagan only tons more pictures. I am on Face book. Like it but have to keep the antivirus up to date. Seems to be you should only connect with groups and people you know.

once in while I find myself there (FB), following a link from eye on the fleet or C7F. will definately take lots of pictures (if I remember lol ) while she was home only got a couple, not high on my list of things to do, Hugs come first and then long chats! but figure I'll only go to Japan once, so will take pictures, have to figure out how to connect my camera/memory card to computor, I use my work computor, might be a problem. also have to get permission to print pictures of my sailor, because she's an IS, hoping since she's left the sand box, security will be alittle less.

I am in Northeast Pennsylvania. Lots of Navy Life. Lived on Andrews Airforce Base for our final duty station. Justens phone is only 3 months old they replaced his screen. All fixed, it worked without the screen to call home so I was happy. Ship life can be a real adjustment. Justen works out a lot. He Uses the computer then goes to work out. Showers sleeps and goes to work. At least that is what I usually hear from him. He takes a class for college each term. He has 3 more after this one to get his associate degree. Slow and steady wins the race. He is working hard to try to get ahead. I agree with the SD and phone. I miss being able to leave a voice mail if he doesn't answer. Take care did you join the Reagan group on here?

Crystal, sounds like you know a lot about Navy life. Our son has only been in for 2 years. He spent a year in Chicago going thru A School and then has been in SD for year. He finished C School in October and has been on the ship since. He doesn't like the ship life too much. He says it's pretty boring! He has duty today and is off tomorrow and hopes to do more site seeing with his cousin. I hope your son got his phone fixed. It will be nice when they get back to SD so we can talk to him more often. I hope your son gets approved for Shore duty. That would be so nice. where are you located? We are in Nebraska.

James;s Mom, I am glad to hear it was just not me. Thought at one time maybe I was to picky. Hate bad info and crying and whinning. As a navy wife I was a single Mom frequently but had to respond to an absent spouse. It is different yet similar. Shipping and care packages here has a group or two. They could always use more ideas. I love the flat rate boxes. Send one every two weeks once he is on cruise. It sometimes puts a dent in the budget. His old Boy Scout Troop sends a box here and there during deployment. And Cora congrats on the Grand baby. I have none at this point. My son is in the middle of a divorce. His wife refused to go to California once they were married. Strange but true. Now she is mixed up with the law so it is for the best. Life is what you make of it he is not sorry and seems pretty happy despite a bad situation.

Congrats Cora and Christmas will be busy for you. You will have to start shopping in Oct. Crystal, I am also prior service and still unable to leave the DoD even after 24 yrs; however, it is nice to hear your sediments; ie N4Ms. I am a mom thru and thru but far more technical and as a single mom one has to stand strong, otherwise the house will crumble. Yet, I will say they say there are some good ideas for shipping care packages, etc.

Cora that is the best news. I hope everything works out as planned. I started planning for new years leave about this time last year. Have fun and what a wonderful thing to look forward to.
