Tammie, He has been in for 4 years. Bubba (Justen) re enlisted in May. We flew out to SD and spent a week with him. It was wonderful. He is starting to put in for shore duty. His Dad is Navy Retired. I did 4 years as a Hospital Corpsman. I found out he stayed on ship Friday and slept. Out on the town had to get his phone fixed. After that was done he went out to eat. Last I knew he was staying onshore over night. He has been on the Reagan since 2006 right after "A" school. He is an MM2. So He will be coming off the ship mid way next cruise. I am not on Navy 4 Moms. I found there to be to much crying going on. To many Moms thought they were experts so I don't go there. I like the laid back and positive support I found here. The fit was better and a lot less rumors.

Yes, I did follow the RIMPAC 2010 site. It was great to be able to see what they were doing and I loved all the photos. I do follow the Reagan site as well. My sailor called when they got into port on Friday. It was 1:00 a.m our time but was so glad he called to tell me they were there. I haven't heard from him since. He is staying off ship as well. My nephew is also in the Navy and has been stationed in Hawaii for the past 7 years so he is glad to be off the ship and have family to stay with. How long has your son been the Navy? Has been on the RR the entire time? And what is his job? Are you also on NavyMoms?

Bubba is on the Reagan. Did you follow the RIMPAC 2010 site? I did and the Reagan site. He called me twice yesterday. Staying off ship last night. He is so cute on the phone. Hard to be cute at age 25.

Just had a call from Bubba. He is in HI. (no viloation of OSPEC Announced over public facebook page USS Ronald Reagan.) He sounded so good. I miss him but now will be able to talk to him more often until Jan. He stayed on ship last night Poor guy had been up for over 18 hours and working.

Crystal, I'm with you any award is something to celebrate. And yes, getting along with other Countries and working well together is Important. A Captain should never be embarressed by his crew.
