COngrats Tim ----- and Yes I stayed at both springhill and courtyard marriots and I have to say I liked springhill much better.

well just got back form meet and greet and met some great folks and colleen from here posting and had a good time now were antzy back in the room and wondering if we can even sleep but little tired long shopping at the gurnee mall-----the springhill suites marriot is in a great location and close to everything and is new the staff here are great and the rooms fantastic theres a walmart rt next door and u can get on and off roads to go anywhere i recommend it highly...well tomrrow is the big day i cant wait so ill be back monday with all the details.....>>>Tim

Glad you made it ok, FC is good, that's what my son is, He'll have 7 weeks of ATT then A school in Great Lakes and then C school either Dahlgren, VA, Dam Neck, VA or San Diegeo depending of what weapon I believe he'll be trained on. Have fun there at Great Lakes, and Christmas is really not that far away!! lol

well gang made it here after terrible traffic on 294 but did a tour of the rich and famous lol with friend here and now waiting anxiously going shopping tommorrow then group meet with parents from his ship unfortunatly nat said afew fromhis ship didnt make it and have to wait 2 weeks for next pir i feel for them and there parents i pray theyll make it next time....nat also said he is a FC and will have a and c school at great lakes and wont get time home till christmas is glad no matter =so ......but its wht he hoped for and were happy for him...more later gang niterz
