yea im over the top he ordered all the pics and video and books he said dad its 300.00 lol i said i got ya covered bud dont worry bout it thats nothing for wht itll mean to me and mom its priceless ill post somepics and things when i get back far as im concerned u all are with me there .......hugs back

hey gang im here at grandmas house visiting then off in mornin to great lakes for the grand finally seeing PIR and nat he called last night and is all pumped up about Bat 21 and is ready to push anyone to the limit to get the job done to graduate hes all better the flu bug gone and sounds great he cant wait to see us and wantrs starbucks coffee and donuts first thing once we leave from post .......im ready just got to go 6hrs from here to great lakes and get settled pray for us and we will for all the other parents traveling the distance to PIR i cant say how much this means to me he told me last night be prepared to meet someone different you see me dad-------the emotions are more than i have ever experienced in my lifetime >>>>>>>well next time im here ill be telling you all about it im sure take care all ......>>>Tim

that does sound relaxing. hubby had promised me a trip to the great lakes, fireworks over the lake etc....decided to save money for our trip to Japan. besides, work day at the Memorial, we needed to be there. and others needed us to be there. it all worked out for the best.

We spent it at the Ohio Veterans Memorial, if you're from Ohio, it's like Our Arlington, if you can't afford to go to Arlington, or don't have the time, you go to Clinton OH.

Have fun TIM ----- and the Great Lakes Naval base (a school area) is open to the public the 4th of July (its the only time it is ) Take advantage of that ---- Lt Dan Band usually puts on a concert for the sailors.
