thanks everyone, we always seem to make it through. we've gone as long as 19 months without seeing her! never easy but holidays get to me, especially when I know she's having a hard time. but I have Christmas to look forward to this year.

Thanks Molly, I was so excited when I got my hands on him, I was shaking. When they walk thru that big Door OMG It's amazing, A feelinglike no other. He PIR'ed on 19 Mar and is getting ready for A School on July 9th. He's very excited. He's FC.

Yes even with all the high there are lows my prayers are with you all and im sure ill be sharing yr feelings in the future .All we can do as parents is pray and now ther in good hands yr heart will always have a place that seems empty but everytime i hear his voice or get a letter it helps fill the void and egts me throu to the next time ---i started a scrap book yesterday -----great picture i hope to have many just like that soon -------we missed nats first birthday and he worte to me sorry about fathers day i was alittle preoccupied lol i told him i bet u were and just knowing you love me as your father is more than i could ask for from someone not long ago you couldnt say good morning too when he got up--he old us yesterday he has to wait til wed to go to A school so well have to head back monday and try to make another trip later but to have the week end will seem incredible--------

I'm sorry she's feeling down and you too it's so hard on everybody and they all have their moments, I think mine is a little homesick right now too we haven't seen him since March and probably won't until Christmas. :( not good. But I better get used to it, It's not going to change any time soon. Prayers for you and her. Feel Better!

Noelsnavymom, great picture. feeling alittle down today, sailor's 21st birthday, 3rd one we've missed. we called her this morning before leavig for work, it was night over there, she had stayed home all day, her boss gave her the day off so she ordered her pack out to be delivered, so almost has house in order wants it to be perfect before she leaves on deployment (soon). said as far as birthdays go it was okay considering it's the 3rd one alone, she had friends want to take her out but wouldn't go! is she feeling sorry for herself, missing home or depressed? I think i'm falling into depression myself. not a good week for me. hope all is well for you all. good day to ya.

WWOOOOO nats on the phone with wife as i type just got to talk for a half hr hes got a n hr to talk he caught a bug and lost couple hrs but ship 13 div 241 has four flags and apendant ------going for the captains cup nxt week and he just did the gas chamber said he made it ok with his nose stuffed up lol god im proud of him----got a marksman ribbon for fire arms and is yeoman says bat 21 is tues or wed and all he wants is hot wings when we get him lol and choclate.Wow that was incredible ..........

Crystal, I agree, or even that," I made it safely" when they're deployed the first OR anytime. anytime I hear my daughter's voice it's a relief, like a breathe I've been holding and didn't even know it! But to see her at PIR and to get that first hug, AMAZING!
